Privacy Policy

Optisnap operates entirely client-side. Your uploaded images and files never leave your device and are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

We only collect information voluntarily provided by you, such as your email address and messages submitted through our contact form for support purposes. License activation keys may be verified via secure third-party licensing providers.

We also use Tally as a third-party data processor to collect user feedback, bug reports, feature suggestions, and optional email addresses for support follow-ups via our embedded feedback form. Information you submit through that form is processed by Tally on our behalf so we can respond and improve the product.

Using the feedback form does not affect the security of uploaded images. Image optimization continues to run 100% locally in your browser: your files never leave your device, are not sent through Tally, and are not uploaded to Optisnap servers.

All image processing remains 100% client-side and private: your files never leave your device and are not uploaded to Optisnap servers. Separately from that workflow, we may use analytical cookies strictly for website performance tracking and to understand how the site is used in aggregate.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) (measurement ID G-23K64SPR5Z) to monitor web traffic and collect aggregate anonymous usage statistics, such as page views and general site performance. GA4 is loaded only after you explicitly accept analytics cookies via our cookie consent banner. Declining prevents the GA4 script from loading.

We do not use advertising, retargeting, or profiling cookies for marketing. We do not sell or share browsing data for advertising purposes. Essential technical cookies (for example hosting cookies required by Vercel) may still be used so the website loads and stays reliable. Theme preference and your cookie choice may be stored locally in your browser.

For more detail, see our Cookie Policy.

If you have any questions regarding this Privacy Policy or our data practices, email support@optisnap.online or use the Contact form.
